Who are Sit 'n' Sleep ?
Located in the rolling hills of Cambridgeshire, Sit 'n' Sleep is a partnership formed in 2004 between Andrew Folbigg, Robert Dennes and Richard van Ewyk. Together we have over 60 years experience in furniture design, manufacturing and retailing. Many of the products we sell are our own designs made here in our workshops.

Customer Service
With an in-depth knowledge of futons and retailing, Andrew manages all customer enquiries and orders, assisted by Lesley who is also experienced in the world of futons and sofa beds. Our customer support doesn't stop once you receive your goods - we want all our customers to be happy with their purchases and we are always available to help you with queries both through and beyond the guarantee period.

Prices and Product Quality
Because many of the products we sell are made in our workshop, Sit 'n' Sleep is able to give you genuine factory-direct prices. All our goods are made to the highest standards and our prices are only lower becuase there is no "middle-man". Visitors to our showroom are always most welcome to view our workshop and see the care that goes into making and handling of everything we sell.

What are our Mattresses Filled With?
FUTONS
Our futons are made with "K2", these are the latest and very best in fillings and are designed specifically for futons. Developed in collaboration with John Cotton (mirfield) Ltd, one of Europe's leading filling manufacturers, they give the best possible combination of luxurious comfort with real durability, whilst at the same time being much lighter in weight than older style futon fillings. ^Top

SOFABEDS
Our sofa beds are filled with high-density foam of a variety hardnesses for maximum comfort. We only use top-grade foam which comes with a full 10-year durability guarantee. ^Top

Fabrics
Our fabric collection is carefully selected from a number of European suppliers to give you a wide-choice to suit any room. Having recently visited Europe's leading fabric trade exhibition, many new fabric options will be joining our swatch in the coming months. ^Top

Bases
PINE BASE FUTONS
All pine bases are made by ourselves to our designs. Only top-grade timber from managed and certified forests is used for consistent quality and to minimise harmful effects on the environment.

HARDWOOD FUTONS
All our hardwood bases are made from "rubberwood". This is an attractive close-grained hardwood which gives a really opulent feel to any room, but like our pine it is sourced only from manufacturers using managed plantations to minimise environental impact.

METAL BASE FUTONS
Our metal bases are sourced only from suppliers with whom we have dealt with for many years. Thick strong steel finished in high-build paints giving an attractive and durable finish ensures that our metal bases will give many years of service.
We do not supply light-weight weak bases requiring central support legs nor do we supply metal bases using bars instead of beechwood slats or mesh for cheapness since these give a lumpy feel to the bed. ^Top

Showroom and Workshop
We have a large purpose-build showroom at our 5000 foot workshop where we have on display many of the products which we sell. Please feel free to VISIT US to test and inspect any products and make sure they meet your exact requirements.
Goods ordered can be collected from our factory showroom and we always have an extensive stock of products available to take-away immediately. ^Top

Guarantees
Naturally all our products come with a full one year guarantee. We always have stocks of parts both of our own manufactured and bought in products. We have very few problems with any of the products we sell, and we always try hard to resolve any problems quickly so that your futon or sofa bed can continue to give you many years of service. ^Top
