A truely innovative design, hand-made in our own workshop and not available elsewhere, our TRADITIONAL has all the looks of a simple "A"-frame design while incorporating a unique all-wood operating mechanism which in one simple movement folds the base out and raises it up to a full normal bed height.

While we were developing the TRADITIONAL, we also designed in a stylish shaped front plinth with no visible screw attachments and chunky legs to give a contemporary feel to the design. The TRADITIONAL design also does away with that awkward third centre leg of most other "A"-frame futon bases.

The pre-assembled pine sections require just a few bolts for final assembly. Add HEADBOARD ARMS to give a sofa or bed for any occasion.
