PERDU - The hideaway fold-up bed.

A full-size single bed that you use every night if you want and yet in just a few moments it folds-up and hides away.

Fold the base up and at less than 15cm,/6" thick, it will slide (on it's wheels) under most beds. Fold the mattress in half and it'll happily hide at the back of a wardrobe or in a stairs cupboard, or under a bed.

Choose from our original futon or reflex foam mattress and then pick one of the tempting fabric colours in our easy-care Prime fabric.

Colour your base, if you like, in one of eight stain finishes or go harlequin for a change - or leave it simple and natural.

Made here at our Cambridge workshops the PERDU uses timber only from European certified managed forests and is another original Sit and Sleep design.

The PERDU is supplied in two packages:

Package 1: Perdu Frame

Package 2: Mattress

The PERDU is supplied fully assembled. Simply unpack – unfold and place the mattress onto the frame.

Alternatively we offer a mattress made with 70mm of High Density Reflex Foam which gives a great sleeping surface and is less bulky to store than the futon mattress version.

This product is generally kept in our stock and is usually despatched to our delivery partner within a few working days of us receiving an order, once your chosen mattress and options have been completed for you.

The lead time for despatch to delivery varies according to your geographic location.

The delivery date is pre-arranged with you.

Once your order has been despatched, a delivery day will be booked with you by our delivery partner together with an estimated time slot for your delivery. Note: Small items, such as futon covers and cushions, are sent by small parcel carrier and delivery is not pre-booked, however, you will receive text/email updates as the item moves through the system.

If you have a ‘must-have-by’ date, please give us as much notice as you can so we can prioritise production of orders and plan delivery accordingly to increase the possibility of meeting a date.
