Detachable futon armrest option. These arms also slot in to make a headboard when the base is used as a bed.

The ROMAN futon is supplied in two separate packages:

A large cardboard box containing the base:200 x 97 x 28cm – 24Kg

The Futon Mattress is rolled and bagged in heavy duty plastic.

Typical measurements and weights are:Standard Double: 137 x 55cm (rolled) – 20Kg

The ROMAN futon is supplied 99% assembled. The base only requires the two pre-assembled sections to be linked together using the bolts and allen key fittings provided.

The ROMAN futon is supplied as standard with our Supreme futon mattress

which is ideal for occasional/regular bed or sofa use. If you would like a more resilient mattress our SuperPoly specification, with the addition of two 450g/m2 layers of SuperBond Polyester adds loft to the mattress.

Alternatively for regular/permanent bed or sofa use we would recommend upgrading to our FoamLux futon mattress which incorporates a generous 40mm thick foam core for more comfort and support.

This product is generally kept in our stock and is usually despatched to our delivery partner within a few working days of us receiving an order, once your chosen mattress and options have been completed for you.

The lead time for despatch to delivery varies according to your geographic location.

The delivery date is pre-arranged with you.

Once your order has been despatched, a delivery day will be booked with you by our delivery partner together with an estimated time slot for your delivery. Note: Small items, such as futon covers and cushions, are sent by small parcel carrier and delivery is not pre-booked, however, you will receive text/email updates as the item moves through the system.

If you have a ‘must-have-by’ date, please give us as much notice as you can so we can prioritise production of orders and plan delivery accordingly to increase the possibility of meeting a date.
