I wanted a S&S futon, because I wanted a GOOD sofa AND a GOOD bed (and most clic-clak sofa beds are 30cm narrower than a double bed!).
S&S customer service was excellent; they told me loads about how futon mattress technology has advanced in the last 20 years - and helped me to choose the right S&S futon for my needs.
I am very happy to report that it is a good, double-sized, proper bed - and also, a very comfortable, proper-sized sofa. I thoroughly recommend the company and the product.

Assembly instructions were useless, and that's from someone who's used to assembling furniture.
But once we'd got it together it's really comfy and looks good. The cat loves it!
