	Simple conversion from futon seat to futon bed.Fold out the rear in one action and the base is ready to make a bed
	Available in 3 sizes of futon.Choose from a Single (76cm/2'6"); Compact Double (122cm/4') or Standard Double (137cm/4'6")
	Futon base with wheels .Discrete wheels make it easy to move and position the Classic futon
	Adjustable height futon seat .Folding front legs offer a normal or lower seat height, ideal for smaller people
	Futon Lounger .Recliner legs fold-out to make a comfortable lounger
	Detachable Futon Armrest Option.These arms also make a headboard when the base is used as a bed
	Fully Assembled Futon Frame Sections.Simply fit 3 bolts before use.
	Original Futon.Our hand-made sumptuous Original futon comes as standard. You can also choose from filling upgrades for even more comfort

This model comes as standard with our Original futon mattress which gives good performance as a sofa or bed.

For additional resilience and loft you can upgrade your mattress to the PolyLux mattress which includes an additional layer of 450g/m2 SuperBond Polyester.

The CLASSIC futon is despatched as two packages.
A cardboard box containing the base:
Single Size: 84 x 94 x 27cm - 14Kg

The Futon Mattress is rolled and bagged in heavy duty plastic. Typical measurements and weights are:
Single Size: 76 x 55cm (rolled) - 12Kg

Standard Double: 137 x 55cm (rolled) - 20Kg
#Assembly#
Just link the two parts of the frame together with the allen key bolts supplied.

Place the futon on the base and you're ready to go.

Mattress thick and high quality. Easy to connect the two parts. Glad I paid extra for the wood staining as I wouldn’t have achieved this finish!
Delivery company are impressive- Email explaining delivery and phone call when they were ready to deliver, plus a call from the driver to say he was on his way. Very friendly and reassuring.

Excellent futon that is used by my student son when home from university. He finds it very comfortable and particularly likes the reclining mode which he uses for lounging, studying and chatting with friends. He loves the “engineered” design and that the futon is multi functional. I was advised to buy the polylux mattress which was sound advice and worth the extra cost; it may even be too comfortable as my son barely left the futon during its first 24 hours!
