A timeless design, our STARTA futon is a sensible choice.Fold-out the rear for a bed.  

Lift it back up to form the sofa.  Simple.

Unlike most economical futons, our STARTA futon is fully-assembled.  Just slide in three bolts and it's ready for action.  

The front feet can be folded up or down to give a high or low seating position and this also allows the base to lie completely flat as a bed.

Optional upholstered arms simply slot into place and add a touch more luxury, they easily lift out and relocate to form a headboard when using the STARTA as a bed.

Supplied with our ECO futon in a range of fabrics the base of the STARTA can also be stained in many different colours.  

In common with all the futons that we make, the timber used in the STARTA is European sourced from certified sustainable forests which minimises it's environmental impact.

#Fillings#
The STARTA comes with our ECO mattress as standard, comprising 2 layers of wool (300g/m2) plus 2 layers of core felt (1800g/m2).  

The ECO mattress is suitable for occasional sofa/occasional bed use.

For more frequent use you can opt to upgrade your mattress to our durable and lightweight EcoPoly specification which includes a layer of SuperBond polyester for more loft and durability.
